New Cavegirl DVD!

Amazing news. Daniel Roebuck and some of the other actors from Cavegirl have recorded a commentary track for a new DVD release of this film! Also Roebuck made a documentary about the making of Cavegirl which will also be on the DVD.

Unfortunately the article above says that the DVD is to be released "in late 2013." It hasn't been released yet. I've contacted Roebuck on Facebook about the DVD but he hasn't responded. I also contacted the distributor on Twitter and email and they haven't responded. Maybe if other people show interest we'll get a response.

I have an update. I contacted the distributor Code Red and the DVD will still be released, they are just waiting for Daniel Roebuck to finish his documentary on the film. This DVD was originally scheduled for released at the end of 2013 and it's nearly February. Lets contact Mr. Roebuck on Facebook and let him know we're looking forward to the DVD. Mr. Roebuck just posted on his Facebook that he has finished filming the documentary! He also posted a picture of himself with some posters from the film on what appears to be a location Cavegirl was filmed on.

I recently emailed Code Red looking for another update. They said, "update is the dvd will be out mid-may. thanks for asking." This is great news. Strangely they have no mention of it on their web site or any web site as far as I know.

it's September 2014 -- and I don't see "cavegirl" listed on the Code Red DVD website....do you know how long in minutes will be the version they are supposed to include in the new DVD?? hoping the full 85 minute version is included.

Yeah, I have it on the Too Cool For School DVD set and it's decent quality, but this cult classic deserves it's own release. Glad to hear it is finally being granted.
