This is a quality production.

A very well put together film;

- Lewis Teague is a solid director. Alligator (1980) and Cujo (1983) are also good films.

- The cinematography by Jack Cardiff (A Matter of Life and Death, Black Narcissus, The Red Shoes, The African Queen) is stellar. Beautiful color palette, framing and camera movement. The high rise and the troll doll sequences are very well done.

- The editing by Scott Conrad (Rocky) is great. It's a well paced film with 3 segments taking up roughly 30 minutes a piece. Which I prefer over some other anthology films which have a dominant segment that takes up say 40 minutes, with the others getting 20.

- Good acting from the likes of James Woods, Alan King, Kenneth McMillian, Robert Hays and a young Drew Barrymore.

- The OST by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Predator, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Abyss, Forrest Gump) is very good.

- Tonally it's very fun. Good touches of humor with some dark and tense moments.

Agreed, and all three stories, tied together by the cat, are interesting.

Yeah, many anthologies suffer from an imbalance where you have strong segments and lesser ones. I'd find it difficult to pick a favorite of the three.

I also liked all the little nods to Stephen Kings other works such as Cujo, Christine, The Dead Zone and Pet Semetary.

A fun, entertaining film that has some legitimately good production values. It deserves more attention and praise.
