Anyone know what the differences are, if any, between the original version of The Care Bears in the Land Without Feelings and the syndicated edit that aired as part of the DIC/Nelvana series?
If anyone has the same info about the other stand-alone special, The Care Bears Battle the Freeze Machine, that would be helpful too!

Parts of the credits are chopped out, a few seconds of scenes are deleted and the songs are speeded up. While the Nelvana theme got tacked on to the specials (because that version of the bears became the most popular) the first 2 specials had NOTHING to do with Nelvana and were made by atkinson film arts. Look on amazon for the vhs tapes and you should find the originals. All versions on dvd are the edited ones. Hope this helps you.
