My opinion

Well, I was quite fine with this film, it being more closer to the 1977 setting of the book, the remake was rather too modern, though I like to pretend it being in the 70s setting (don't you?). And judging by the 2007's FAQ, this told Bridge to Terebithia the way it was meant to be told. Yet once again, Leslie's death is off-screen, (though we do see her about a moment before her death unlike in the remake). And when I saw that they didn't show Leslie's death, I was like "It's the 2007 movie all over again."
