The Best Friendship Of All Time

Anyone else agree the friendship between Viktor and Rinaldo the midget was the best part of this film? Too bad that wasn't what the whole movie was about. Really enjoyed seeing the pair together that I felt like yawning when scenes went back to Frankenstein's castle showing the relationship between Sting and Jennifer Beals.

I ordered this movie last week, and it should be coming in in about a week.

David Rappaport is the reason I ordered it, since I recently rediscovered him.

I know I'll like it, even though it might make me cry.

I had a very old VHS of this from when it first came out. I just bought it on DVD and it was well worth it. I love the transfer.

Two fine actors; couldn't be more different physically, but both inhabited their characters and made them real. Clancey Brown has had many good roles since; such a shame that David Rappaport isn't around any more.

Yes Camelot (and you others who agree) I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I wish this movie had been called Viktor and Renaldo, just two hours of them. Those guys almost brought me to tears when they were on screen together. The Sting and Jennifer Beals characters were a couple of idiots.

Very touching. I'm glad the scriptwriters decided to have Viktor understand what had happened and who was responsible. Viktor having intelligence beyond a child is actually closer to the source material than many of the other Frankenstein films. Any other way, probably would have spoiled my day.

The relationship between Viktor and Naldo is the best part of the film. I just love it and still cry at the sad bit (won't give spoilers just in case).

I agree that these are the best parts of the of film (and also the very beginning). The parts with Frankenstein and the Bride are just dull and overacted.

I'm surprised neither Brown nor Rappaport were nominated for Saturn's. Their scenes together are amazing and make the movie worth watching.

If I ever go down, I hope I don't get the Potato Judge.
