I think Brewster would have married Drake, who wouldn't spend $100,000 on a necklace, asking 'you know how many that could feed?'. Brewster wasn't shallow, and I think they would make a great couple.

I think they became like Bill and Melinda Gates. Brewster probably did eventually take politics seriously. Drake seems like she would be agreeable to making a difference. If not politics, he would probably have bought a baseball team. But I think he would have ended up spending most of his life, with Drake, in philanthropic endeavors.

That's my take.

Nothing crazy. The whole point of him having to spend the 30 million was so he'd get so sick of spending money he wouldn't want to squander 300 million. I have a feeling he'd just invest wisely this time and let the interest grow. He'd also let Spike and his friends make as much money for him as they want and if this time Spike made 10 million dollars for him he'd celebrate with him instead of being pissed off.
