Brewster's Millions 2011

Lets do Brewster's Millions today! The same rules apply, but now, in 2011, due to inflation, you will be working with larger amounts of money. Today, you've got 100 million to spend in 30 days, the same rules apply 5% charity, 5% gambling, you may not own anything you bought with the money after 30 days, you may not destroy anything of inherent value, ect. If you are able to spend the 100 million within the time period and conditions than you get 1 billion! Thats 1 billion with a b! If you don't think you can do it than you can take the wimp clause, ten million dollars. With the wimp clause you will walk away with ten million but otherwise you must take on the challenge and if you don't complete the challenge than you don't get diddly! So what would you do?

So 5% for charity & 5% gambled (and lost) away would be $10,000,000 gone up front.

Well for starters, I'd rent out the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, Palms Casino Villa Palms Resort in Vegas for 30 days. The cost is $40,000 per night, so that's $1,200,000 gone right there. There is a more expensive hotel in Geneva ($53,000 a night), but I think Vegas would be a bit more fun. Then I'd rent a Lamborghini Gallardo Spider for the entire 30 days @ $1350 a day, which would be another $40,500, plus an additional $2.25 a mile for every mile driven over 100 miles in a day, so let's just say an extra $500 to round that number up to $41,000.

I'd have dinner every night at Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesar's Palace where it costs $750 per person for the Krug Menu. So that would be an additional $22,500. For breakfast and lunch, I would hire my own chef, pay him $100,000 for his services.

I would hire my own personal security of course. I'd hire on 8 guys (to cover around the clock protection), at $50,000 a piece. Total security cost would be $400,000.

I would hire a different band every night for entertainment, paying them $1,000,000 each, so $30,000,000 in band fees.

So far, that's $41,763,500.

I'll have to think about the rest.

Download thousands upon thousands of songs illegally and then turn yourself in to the music industry With a 10,000 dollar a song fine you could blow thru the cash in no time.

You teally need to make a rule that you cant knowingly break the law and pay penalties (way too easy). Also you can settle lawsuits but only within reason. Same with the price of anything really.

Just my thoughts- but these are your set of rules to mess with not mine.

Buy as crap ton of expensive brand new cars, drive them a few miles, and immediately sell them at their new market value which should be like half. Repeat this until you are nearly broke.

But then you'll still have a car or some money at the end.
