Railroad tracks and train in the outfield...

I know people have already commented on this but I just had to add my 2 cents as well. I think I was 11 when this movie played in the theaters and I remember thinking how cool it was to see the train running through the outfield. I've wondered too if it was a real field but can't seem to find a location or any evidence to support its existence. Would love to know for sure. It sure looked real as well as old and even quite cool in the movie:-)
