Allison's sandwich

Never could figure out what's in it - looks like sugar with potato chips or cereal?

reply

My thought it was Captain Crunch. I put Doritos on my sandwich over the top of the meat and cheese.

reply

Ya I do that too . Yummy

reply

It was Captain Crunch & Pixie Stix. Ally Sheedy was a Vegan/Vegetarian & actually had to puke (or nearly puked) shooting that scene.

reply

Looked like Cap'n Crunch to me. It's great in milk, but not on bread.

I don't get why it made her nauseous if she was a vegetarian. There's no meat in Cap'n Crunch (that I can recall). I can understand her getting sick if she was required to et a huge hero sandwich.

reply

Don’t think she became nauseous because she was vegetarian. I think she became nauseous because the sandwich was so gross to her.

Perhaps the post you quoted was just trying to point out that she was a vegetarian and that she got sick when filming the scene. Just 2 details. I don’t think the post is saying the sickness came because she was vegetarian.

reply

Well then I just don't get the connection between vegan and having to eat a sugary, weird concoction that had no meat in it. LOL

The sandwich Ally Sheedy ate had nothing to do with being a vegetarian, so why bring up the fact that she was? Do you see what I mean? There's no connection.

If I had to eat that same sandwich, I'd be nauseous too and I'm not a vegetarian.

Actually I would've probably been more nauseous eating that sushi Claire brought for lunch. eeek!

OK,now thinking about it,I think I mis-remembered the story about her shooting the scene.

I think originally, the scene involved her putting pixi stix on some type of meat sandwich (bologna maybe?) & it made her gag,so it was changed to Captain Crunch.

reply

Oh, thanks, that makes sense. I couldn't imagine eating meat sprinkled with pixie stix.
I can't stand bologna anyway. And if it was sprinkled with sugar, I'd really get sick.

reply

The security guard training guy in Equalizer 2 had chips on his sandwich in a scene in it.
