# 4 On My Top Ten List...

I first saw Brazil about four years ago. I'd heard of the film before, but had no idea what it was about. What piqued my interest was reading a review of Brazil in a book called: "Harlan Ellison's Watching." Harlan Ellison is a famous writer who wrote, among many other things, a movie review column. In his review for Brazil, Ellison raved about the film, calling it the best science fiction film he'd ever seen. Coming from such a revered author of the genre, I figured I'd better check it out. Well, I'll never forget the first time I saw Brazil. After the scene ended where Mr. Buttle (or was it Tuttle?) is arrested, I was literally clapping at the brilliance of the satire. By the end of the movie, it was already in my Top Ten favorite films of all time:
