A great movie to not be missed!
Keith Carradine and Kathlene Quinlan are great but Richard Widmark is outstanding as the pursuing detective.

shareI loved this film! I just got done watching it again. very scary!
shareI remember seeing this on HBO back in the day, during one of their 'free HBO' weekends...I loved it. I just hunted down an old VHS copy and I'm watching it again right now.
I'll file this one next to Apology and Fortress...two other HBO movies I loved from the 80's.
"This is the 80's, nobody likes reality anymore!"
Lol...I remember that one! Rachel Ward was considered quite the hottie in those days. Haven't seen her in ages. I think this was her next project following AGAINST ALL ODDS.
shareI just recently borrowed it off a friend who highly recommended it. Probably try to get around to watching it this weekend.
"Did you get that thing I sent you?"
man, people thought i was crazy whenever i would mention this movie.. it came out when i was rather young.. still not old enough to watch my younger siblings during the summer.. i was 12.. we had a sitter during the summer.. and my brother was taking his nap and my sister was too young to be intersted.. i watched it with the sitter (because i was a "bigger kid" (so grown up...) I asked the sitter if it was a true story and she said "it could be".. that was it.. i was petrified after that.. and for the longest time (several years actually) i would push my bedroom furniture up in front of the attick space access doors ( my sister and i each had two doors that lead to attick space that ran the length of our room.. we were on the second floor, you had to push the top corner of the door and it would "pop" open).. i was always afraid that the killer would be hiding in the attick space and jump out and kill me in my sleep.. I have never forgotten the impact of this crazy movie.. now i'm in my mid thrities.. it'd be nice to see it again, and not have to barracade my closets.. :D
shareHopefully television will show it again soon. It would be great to see it again.
shareI am surprised this doesn't turn up on cable (or regular TV for that matter) more often. It is a very good film and is well acted. With the subject matter being what it is, it is even more surprising that this film is as forgotten as it is.
Glad I have it on tape :)

Put your pants on, Spartacus!
Widmark was persistant, and he "got his man" at the end. I remember this suspenseful movie and still like it
