Now other news sites are reporting that this news has been CONFIRMED, but I don't know if that's what Variety is saying here... Exciting news though, either way. Hopefully they decide to adapt from the books and not from their own animated film like they did with Cinderella and the upcoming Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid live action films.
