Is it available on DVD in any collection

I've been having a hard time finding a lot of the content from animated shorts that used to run in the Animated Film Festivals from the '80s. I'd particularly like to see this film, but even more, I'd like to show it to my wife, who insists on shaking her eyes at me all the time. Any suggestions on how I could find this gem on DVD would be appreciated.

Hi Wolf

I just stumbled upon this short when looking for cute claymation and animation films. I've never seen it, though it looks really interesting, therefore I went searching for it. As far as I know, it can be found on the "World's Greatest Animation" DVD for a pretty hefty price and only in "used" condition (since it was released in '98). I believe it's available on Amazon (Can, US, UK - depending on where you're from). I don't know if this helps, but good luck!

Still trying to be of help...found a better suggestion...
Went searching and found that "The Big Snit" is available on "Neurotica: Middle-Age Spread And Other Life Crises" DVD for a much more reasonable price (compared to my previous find). The DVD also include 10 other National Film Board of Canada animated shorts. Sounds pretty good!

Hope this helps! Cheers!

The NFB has a beta site up now and there are several hundred films free to stream. Not sure if they are filtering IP addresses to limit to Canada, but "The Big Snit" is there.
