My husband and I have watched this film probably 100+ times over the years. We can never tell what this guy is saying!! Ok, when Lane is about to take the test to join the ski team, the guy counting down at the top sounds like he says "DRY DRY" and then Lane starts..
But we have watched a lot of skiing and have never heard this. Can anyone help with exactly what he says and why?
The subtitles say he's counting in German.. but if he is he is just saying "3" "3".. and why would he??

Google translate - one two three to German:
eins zwei drei

zwei and drei sound similar. That's likely what you're hearing.
