Kind of like Network, only much lighter and more comical

Think about it. You have the morally corrupt add executive(s), the woman who will stand at nothing to be the best at her morally questionable job, the people in spotlight who are slowly losing their minds and the fakeness of TV that nobody cares about. The only big difference is the ending.

The movie could have used some more polish, but as a TV satire, it works pretty darn well.
