Why two versions of this deleted scene?

I noticed there were two different versions of the scene where Doc goes through his personal belongings. They each have different lines of dialogue and different camera angles. What's up with that? One version was on Secrets of the Back to the Future Trilogy, and has music, the other has no music and is on the DVD/Blu-Ray.

multiple takes, redundant camera angles so the director has a choice and changes to script all account for having more than one shot per scene.

I was thinking the version shown on Secrets was from the original preview print, as shown in San Jose, and the version on DVD/Blu-Ray was from the raw dailies.

It seemed like they cleaned up the deleted scenes for the secrets show. Another was the BTTF2 scene where Marty sees the burned out school. There's no sound on the DVD version but it's intact on the show.

They had a different version of the script when they were working with Stoltz.
