Should they make a remake?

Naah, what's the point? It'll still be melodramatic. And after JP, people will expect better dinosaur movies than a remake of this.

Remake Valley of Gwangi instead. Or finally do a good blockbuster version of ACD's The Lost World!

oh christ I hope not... this movie is fine just the way it is. I'd take old school fx over crap cgi anyday.

the stuff does not look real...it just floats above every thing around it. stupid shiney video game visuals.

you can't fake light that hits a real object... even if the object is just a dumpy rubber dinobot.

what a sad unispired era we live in. I hope baby flys below the remaking raydar. you never know what the hell is going to be remade next.

Well said mate!!!

There is something about the live action, even if CGI has it's advantages that beats the computer crap

Agreed let's have a faithful remake of the real Lost World by Conan Doyle seeing as Spielberg and Crichton pinched his title and gave us a mediocre JP sequel.

Conan Doyle's original tale is still the best!

Journey To The Centre of the Earth 3D is a complete insult to Jules Verne!

Leave it the way it is. The movie should just be re-released. The effects (for the most part) still stand up today, and I would much rather have animatronics than CGI and they would 100% go over board with the computer graphics.

I wouldn't mind a remake. I like the film as is (7/10), but it could use a more serious take IMO.
