So, just curious...does anybody else think they have Anne's personality or know someone who is like Anne or even looks like Anne? I don't look much like Anne, but people who have seen the movie often compare us every which way once we get to know each other. (Part of the reason I love the movie so much) Do any of you feel the same way about anybody you know?

Your a hermit? Freaky. lol- umm...no. I think I am a dreamer, much like Anne, but I have never been compared to her. Mostly people compare me to Mia Thermopolis from Princess Diaries.

i can relate to anne in many ways. i'm a redhead for one thing. also, alot of personality wise. i think any girl can relate to anne, you just have to find one thing in her that you see in you.

I'm not as dramatic, but she's passionate about life and talks a lot - same as me. The way she'll go on and on about the littlest thing in such earnest is something I do all the time.
I wish I knew someone exactly like her, though. She'd be a great friend. Everyone wants a bosom friend out of life, right?

On PEI, there's look-alike contests every summer where girls get all dressed up in pinafores, straw hats and braids. It's a real hoot.

I'm always being compared to Anne(mainly because my name is Anne) but one year I made the mistake of dyeing my hair red and...I can't believe I did this but wore it in braids lol I never wore braids again!! My mom told me when I was yonger(I use to have redish-blonde hair) and this couple from Japan or China...I cannot remember but somehow they found out my name was Anne and they thought it was so cool that they took pictures of me! lol

I have totally been compared to Anne. Once in college I subjected my housemates to the entire series and everytime I stated something I loved about Anne the all laughed and rolled thier eyes. She is outspoken both to benifit and fault. She is stubborn and strong. Prone to flights of fancy and has an unending thirst for reading romance. Needless to say while I may have "beautiful nut brown hair" I have the peppery fire of a red head.....hmm maybe I will consider a dye job. Could be fun!
My cousin has been in the PEI commercials as Anne and she has a summer job giving tours of different landmarks dressed as Anne.
But my sister has the same temperament. Trust me though, you wouldn't want that kind of person as a bosom friend. So hotheaded!

I am such an Anne. I have red hair and freckles. AS a child, I was ALWAYS reading and didn't really have any friends (at school at least). I wasn't always that dreamy, but I have now turned out to be. I wasn't that much trouble and I didn't have that much of a temper though. I was, however, insecure and sensitive. To top it off, my middle name is Ann - and thanks to Anne of green gables, I always wanted to change the spelling and add an E. ALSO, my best childhood friend had black hair like Diana's and her mum's name is Diane. I think Anne was my hero because she was just like me.
