Bizzare soundtrack coincidence!

listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMYcuVE0a4I and then listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKoOmpwaqKg very similar opening sounds, same year... anybody got a clue what's happened there?

Also, maybe my memory fools me, but i remember hearing those sounds in a couple of more places during my life, which leads me to ask, maybe the two got those sounds from a common father composer?
