The Black Star Ninja was awesome, but Steve James is the real star

Martial arts master Tadashi Yamashita, ultra-cool tough guy Steve James, and the adorable Judie Aronson are the best things about this film.

I finally got a chance to watch the Knight Rider episode on BluRay. It seems that Tadashi is wearing the same arm suit accessory that he was wearing as the Black Star Ninja (which he hid his steel projectiles that he used in the prison scene). It also seems like the ninja uniforms in the episode are the same design as the ones from American Ninja, but not the actual same ones. The Black Star Ninja's suit seems a little more "designer" and expensive than the ones used in the Knight Rider episode. It's also a bummer that Tadashi gets only a few seconds of screen time in the Knight rider episode, and most if it isn't of his actual face.
Still a cool experience to see it!

That's really bizarre, does it mean that it was his suit to begin with or did he just keep his uniform from the American Ninja set?
I guess he probably kept it front he American Ninja set.
We need his deleted scenes from the commercial shoot! Haha.
