All the cast members..

So i'm only 23, but of course grew up on this.. Re-watching it on DVD, i'm noticing the amazing cast members in this! It's funny seeing "Uncle Jessie" from Full House, Patrick Duffy, etc. It's just super impressive how cool this cast is. They even scored Ringo! Even though his voice is... less than impressive (which is why the Beatles stuck him in the back to drum, not sing)

But nevertheless, this cast has got to be THE most underrated cast of all time!!!

it is also important to note that a majority of this cast are dead now which is very sad to think about all this talent being gone now from entertainment. Those who have passed are:

Sammy Davis, Jr.---the Caterpillar
Roddy McDowell---March Hare
Robert Morley---Red King
Anthony Newley---the Mad Hatter
Donald O'Connor---the Lory Bird
Martha Raye---the Duchess
Imogene Coca---the Cook
Telly Savalas---the Chesire Cat
Shelley Winters---the Dodo Bird
Steve Allen---the Gentleman in the Paper Suit
Lloyd Bridges---the White Knight
George Gobel---the Knat
Merv Griffin---the Conductor
Harvey Korman---the White King
Karl Malden---the Walrus
Pat Morita---the Horse
Louis Nye---the Carpenter
Jack Warden---the Owl

About most of them lived pretty long lives about seven of these people lived to be in their eighty's. Three of them lived to be in their Ninety's. As for the rest of them seven of this people lived to be in their seventies. Notice how the same amount of people that live in their seventies also lived to be in their eighties. And two of them only lived to be in their Sixties. Most of these people died at a good old age. 10 of them lived over 80 the other 9 under 80. There are some cast members that are still alive that are in their eighties.

I was just watching this on youtube. I remember watching it on tv around when it came out. Something tells me that they may have replayed it more than once on tv though because though it came out when I was in Kindergarden I don't actually remember watching it until like 1987 but I can't honestly remember to tell you the truth. ANYWAY, I also remember that someone at my school taped it because whenever there was indoor recess because of rain or snow we'd sit down and watch bits and pieces of the movie. It's sad for me to think about a good chunk of the cast being dead, simply because of the nostalgia surrounding the movie for me.
