This movie was pretty awesome. Very interesting and thrilling. LOVED the acting. Everyone was perfect. Surprised Fonda didnt get more attention. Too bad.
shareI'm surprised too at the low rating. But I understand that men are heavily over-represented on this site. That probably explains a lot of ratings, not just "Agnes.."
I think this truly is a chic-flick in the best sense of the term. Maybe you just have to be female to truly connect.
It's the crass, synthesized music score which causes people to glaze over AGNES OF GOD and to underrate it.
It's a better picture than that, but score does supply emotional subtext and adds to, or subtracts from, the mood of any movie.
The score for AGNES may have been a mistake -- or, at the very least, it's just "too much."
