American Werewolf in London reference.

I don't have this on DVD so I can't check, but am I right in remembering there's some reference to Griffin Dunne's American Werewolf in London character during this film? I have only the vaguest memory as I've not seen the film for about 10 years! I can't even remember remotely what the reference was! It was possibly something as vague as hearing a wolf sound on the subway. Sorry to be so vague!

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

As Paul is leaving the subway, the cop is heard saying "Must be a full moon out there." In AWiL, Jack says "It's a full moon...beware the moon", when he and David are lost on the moors.
