Claymation short Disney Channel once played before this

I was wondering if anyone could help me here. The Disney Channel once played a claymation short right before The Adventures of Mark Twain (it just happened to be the time my family taped the movie, so we recorded the short as well). The short was about a spaceship with a crew of three (A red-bearded human captain; an alien who looked just like a human except for having two antennas, whose name was Ron or Pron or something like that; and a green, froglike alien with a British female voice named Digit) that crash landed on a planet. They are spotted by a huge green alien who is pretty much just big mouth with an eye and a tusk at the end of a long stalk on top of it. They plan to melt the monster with their "gooey gun," but the monster spears the ship with its tusk. They find out that the tusk is made up of the ship's fuel source, strontium, so they surround it with "nitro crystals," laser it off, and then escape from the planet.

I've been trying to locate some information about this short for a while now to no avail. The tape we recorded it on was Beta and is long gone, and even if we did still have it, we didn't get the title recorded, so I've never known what it was called. I do know it's not a Will Vinton production. Any info about this short would be greatly appreciated!
