trippy

I can't help feeling that the makers of this were on drugs. It's pretty psychedelic.

I don't know, it is very trippy, but that doesn't mean the makers had to be on drugs. I loved this movie when I was very young before I had ever dabbled in such things. I've always been fascinated by what some would call psychedelic imagery and sounds, still am. Perhaps seeing movies like this at a young impressionable age is what got me interested in that type of thing, who knows.

Sure, maybe the creators were using drugs, or had in the past, as I'm sure it would be quite difficult to create something so intricate and coherent while on hallucinogens. But then again, this film was made in the 80's, and it's likely that the creators were influenced by art and film of the 60's and 70's, where psychedelic drugs probably played a larger role.

All I know is it's a wonderful film, one of my favorites from my childhood, and who would have imagined that the thoughts and ideas of Mark Twain could be so... trippy?

Why even acknowledge the above Pillock's somewhat adolescent and worthless comment? I certainly wouldn't have wasted my time posting an interesting and considered reply to their babblings.
