Is this intended for KIDS??

The G rating is very underrated... The satan scene still creeps me out till now.

There's a line too where Eve is hitting on Adam and says something like "want to come inside and look at my etchings?" and it just cuts to the next scene and Eve has a baby. Pretty funny stuff.

There's another scene too where Mark Twain asks God to destroy mankind...pretty heavy.

Most Will Vinton/Claymation projects prior to his later commercial stuff like the California Raisins were NOT intended for kids. Mountain Music? Closed Mondays? Would you even consider The PJs kid-friendly? Unfortunately, TV is run by stupid people who assume that all animation, comics and comic books are intended for children. I daresay most children won't get much out of this film. It's really intended for adults. It only got a G rating because "cartoon violence" gets a pass no matter how disturbing. Cf. Ralph Bakshi's Wizards, which contains several scenes in which major characters are killed with much gore, yet it turns up in kid-vid venues like Cartoon Network and The Disney Channel, often with the death scenes ripped out.

I don't think so. G rated stuff tends to be watered down today, but growing up int he 80s, I saw plenty of G-rated stuff with dark themes. It didn't affect me negatively. I think kids should see dark stuff in films-not blood and gore so much, but meaningful stuff like this movie (with a conversation explaining the meaning of it). Kids shouldn't be censored since knowledge better equips them for the real world than sheltering them from the realities of it.
