I have just started the Up series and 28 Up was the last one I watched. I just don't understand why the three females must always be interviewed together. I think it takes away from their individuality. I would really like to see as much time devoted to each girl as they give to each male (and Suzy). It's like he's saying that all three girls are the same, but they really are not. I am hoping that as I watch further in the series, he splits them up.
shareI assume part of the reason they're always together could be that they remained friends and/or stayed living relatively close to each other. Frankly their and Suzy's stories are the least interesting. I can't believe Apted devotes so much time to Suzy. She was the least interesting of all. The 3 'together' boys were the most interesting, but unfortunately 2 of them stopped wanting to do the films and the one who stayed ends up being about as bland as Suzy.

This has changed in subsequent shows as they are viewed more individually.

Well there the 3 boys that are always interviewed together also. In this one it's only that 2 of them did not wanted to.
