Dream Team

Did anyone ever see the episode where Dream Team performed? It was supposed to be a charity event of some sort in an auditorium. The Dream Team showed up late so Raj, Shirley, and Dwayne began the performance. To me it was the funniest episode. Once the Dream Team arrives Nadine seems to be part of the group singing back-up. It was the worst performance. Was this a real group. Someone please let me know.

I saw that episode, and yes the LA Dream Team was a real hip hop/rap group from the 80s. They only had one or two hits. I remember they had "In Tha House" and something else. My sister has the record. You know that was when they were on vinyl. They were one of the most bootsy(cheezy and bad) rap groups of the time. They had thier 15 minutes of fame then faded into oblivion. You can find their movie in various hip hop compilations.

I'ts kinda sad what people say about the LA Dream Team, we were, at that time the best rap group that concetrated on club music not gang related music. The good guys alway finish last. We are still in the house Miss Rayvyn and you can find us at http://myspace.com/snakepuppy

I remember that episode, they did a commercial for "Rob's Place" and the business started booming cause of their commercial. LA Dream Team are the pioneers of West Coast hip hop.

Wow the funny thing is that I went to this post cause I was actually lookin for the L.A Dream Team and then I remembered that they were on a episode of W.H.N. The L.A Dream Team was indeed a positive rap group and I do think that they were the first to blow up from the west coast. The reason why "Nadine" sang back-up I believe is because the female of the group that sang the part she sung passed away in a automobile accident. So sad, but I would love to here that song again it takes me back to my childhood...
