Finding an episode

I can't remember if this was on the Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories or some other program, but I saw this episode years ago and can't remember the name of it.

Basically, it's about some kid that is terrorized by her babysitter. It even goes so far as to where one night, when the kid is home alone at night, the babysitter sneaks into the house wearing a black hooded cloak and actually chases the them around with a meat cleaver. Yeah, crazy as hell, I know.

Anyway, at a birthday party earlier, someone clown or magician gave the kid a little figurine that would grant the user a wish. So the kid ends up using the wish to kill the sadistic babysitter.

Does anyone remeber this?

I can't believe that someone else other than myself saw this episode of whatever show. I saw that a long time ago, and I've asked about it on many messageboards online, but nobody ever had an answer for me. I still have yet to find out which show that was on. My memory vaguely seems to remember that it was an episode of either "Darkroom" or "Scene of the Crime". I think I found a listing of all the episodes of Darkroom, and none of the descriptions had that story in them. Anyway, it was just neat to find that someone else saw this creepy story. Sorry I don't have an answer for you. Except for the sorta supernatural angle to the story (the wishing aspect), it sounds like it would've been an episode of "The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents".

I don't know what this is an episode from, but its not the 80s Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories, or Tales from the Darkside.

The episode is called "The Babysitter" and it was one of the few episodes that made up the very short-lived series "Scene of the Crime". A 3-episode VHS tape was released, but it didn't include the Babysitter episode. I'm still waiting for that show (or heck just that one episode of it only) to appear on disc or YouTube or something.
