TV-show Batman Adam West was brought in here to...

voice Batman. Couldn't Hanna-Barbera have also gotten TV-show Wonder Woman Lynda Carter to voice Wonder Woman? Of course, Adam West had already played his character in a cartoon (1977's "The New Adventures of Batman", for which he and Burt Ward reprised their Batman and Robin roles). [Btw, it's a bit weird to hear Olan Soule as the voice of Firestorm alter ego Prof. Stein, since Soule's "Super Friends" role had long been Batman.]

Carter still had a career going, with another tv series and a Vegas show. Adam West was pretty much taking any gig he could get.

I wonder how the decision to replace Olan Soule with Adam West as Batman came to be in the first place? Not that I was complaining too much. I mean, Adam West even today, is arguably, the definitive Batman actor to a lot of people in the general public. And back in 1984, having him reprise the role that made him famous in the first place, was a major coup. A modern equivalent would've been to have Lynda Carter voice Wonder Woman on the DCAU Justice League animated series instead of Susan Eisenberg.
