Well, no. There seems to be some (very professional) fan art floating around the internet, which some newsgroups have picked up on. The chances are VERY slim, I'm affraid.

It isn't likely, but I'd love to see one. I had my picture taken with the bike when I was in my teens. The show was cool.

It would be great to see a movie come out and I would love it and I think other great fans would as well! Of course they would have to get new actors for the movie but if they used the original actors as well to do cameo appearances would help boost the fan base from original fans of the show. Possibly as the appearance as the original crime fighting duo you know. Just a thought and idea.

I totally agree with you on this! I remember when the show was on ABC and I loved it! I was hoping they would have made more episodes but they did not. I was 13 years old when this show came out in 1985 and liked the show! I thought it was great to watch.

I hope they do make a movie of it and brought it back. The problem is that they would have to get different actors to do it now since the original actors are too old to do it now.

I agree with you on the actor age comment, however that didnt stop them using Stallone for the new rambo film

reply

That is so very true about Sylvester Stallone playing Rambo in his current movies so it is possible that the original actors could do the movie if they decide to do that you know.

Yeah I would love to see a film of this show!

So would I as well love to see a movie on this. I am sure if they did that with a actor who would make it very action packed it would be interesting. Another idea to add to it is have the original actors who were on the TV show make an appearance in the movie.

My idea would be is that both of them are head of that project and the original guy who rode the motorcycle originally and he says he drove a prototype. That would be cool to see!

I think the show is cool enough to warrant a big budget theatrical movie. Although the show lasted only 13 episodes, there has been historical precedence for a short lived TV show being remade into a successful theatrical movie. During the early 80's, there was this very short lived TV comedy series called Police Squad starring Leslie Nielson. It was a flop, and lasted only a few episodes. Years later, they revived the concept, and made a movie called The Naked Gun. They had the same star playing the same character. That movie was so successful, it spawned two sequels. Even if most of today's young people have never heard of Street Hawk, the concept is appealing enough to draw them in once word gets out. For them, it would be a whole new experience - without any memories of the old show to serve as a frame of reference.

Yeah like you said it could work but having the original actors from the show would be difficult because they are both getting pretty old to do it now. The main actor on a motorcycle you know.

Possibly they could do the movie like this that the program is going to be shutdown if they do not find a couple of younger guys to work with them on the project which is Street Hawk. By bringing in two younger guys the motorcycle gets a major revamp to modern technology with the assistance of the original actors. That would be very cool like that you know!

They might not do it because they(Hollywood) think it will not make a boat load of money or is as popular as (i.e. Batman etc) Hope that they make Streethawk

Other Series that they could do

Airwolf
Knight Rider
Thunder in Paradise
Automan

Had the attempt to reboot Knight Rider been more successful, or had the long rumored KR movie come to fruition, I think we might have had a chance--a slight chance--at a Street Hawk revival.
