I remember "Life With Lucy" which ran only a few episodes and "Square Pegs" for example. Neither lasted that long. I cannot for a moment remember this show on in the 80's. I love the original too. Why I can't remember this revival, I've no idea. Why does it say it was on for 6 years but there's only 4 seasons? Did it not air original episodes in consecutive years I assume? I really want to see the series so bad!

The time discrepancy is in part because a stupid user of IMDB inputted data that this series started in 1983 even though it did not. That is because said stupid user assumed that the 1983 TV movie is a part of this series, even though it is not. And since IMDB never fact-checks the legitimacy of info that users input, the inaccurate time frame now becomes "fact" according the perceptions of everyone who isn't fortunate enough to know better.
