There are rumours that Urich faked his death and there is a lot of evidence to support such.

I LOVE Spenser!He is the best private dick out there. Avery B. was fantastic too.

The man died of cancer which is why the Lazarus Man was pulled because the producers worried about his health as he underwent chemo therapy. This is a stupid and dangerous rumor to push.

If that were true, which it certainly is not, I'd respect his privacy. After all, anyone who fakes their own death wants nothing as badly as privacy.
