corgan connection?

okay, i heard this rumor that billy corgan was originally cast as the little boy on this show. supposedly it was all set and he was going to be on it, but the producer caught him torturing kittens in his dressing room and fired him on the spot. his anger at being denied the part led him to pound out flavorful guitar riffs that infected our youth culture with a similar desire to mindlessly hurt kittens, puppies, and squirrels, which is why this country doesn't have a stray problem. is this true?
