I love the show, but wasted potential

Don't get me wrong, I love the show. But there are a few things I wish they changed. One, is that the father never seemed to think of Vici as anything but a robot. I think it would have been better if he came to think of Vici as his daughter.

The other is that Vici never really evolved as a character. I wish she was like Data from Star trek. Starting out the way she did, but slowly becoming more human.
