Hey Crusoe89 and other Buccaneers,

The copy I ordered from www.networkdvd.co.uk arrived today and I can't wait to watch it this weekend! I received it in 2 business days, and I live in the U.S.A., so you nice people across the pond will probably receive it even faster. I cancelled my order on Amazon because it still has it listed as unavailable.

The picture looks pretty good considering its age, and it's just great seeing my childhood friends Jim Hawkins, John Silver, and company on screen once again.

WooHoo, by the powers!!

Someone actually owns the DVD - now we all have a chance!

Don't know whether to cancel my Amazon order now. Probably will (from blighty to the US in 2 business days - that's fast!), but either way, it's great to know it actually is available. Thanks for letting us know.

Indeed! Now, to paraphrase Ben Gunn, all I feel like I need "is a morsel of that there cheese!" ;)

I have to admit, I really didn't believe it would arrive until I saw it myself. I checked it though and it's the real deal.

No problem. I wanted to let everyone know that the DVD is actually out there (also "the truth is out there"). :)

Based on all the places I have looked online, it appears that Network is the only place that has these in stock. Another person I know ordered a copy today and has already received a confirmation that it has shipped. I don't know how long these will be in stock, but you may want to order a copy soon while they are still available.
