Which episode is the best? Which one is the worst?

In your opinion?

I haven't seen most yet, but I'll bet Skeleton is about best for me. Once the end comes.
Twas the only one that stuck in my head, from long ago.

I have a dvd of 13 episodes of those "The Pedestrian" is my favorite and "The Veldt" is my least favorite.

I would think that some of the worst epidsodes didn't make the dvd cut.

Best - The Playground and The Crowd
Worst - there is no worst

Here are my top 3 best and worst (in no particular order):

Worst:
Touched with Fire
Sun and Shadow
Downwind from Gettysburg

Best:
Fee Fie Foe Fum
The Lonely One
The Playground

There's like a 10 way tie for worst. The quality of this TV series varied quite a bit. Many shows had the deadly combination of horrible acting, non-nonsensical, boring story and poor production. I can understand why The Ray Bradbury Theater never reached the same level as Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside or Outer Limits.

My favorites:

Jeff Goldblum's The Town Where No One Got Off

Drew Barrymore's The Screaming Woman

My favorite without a big name star is The Emissary.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

Not too mention that the music is very cheesy. 'sigh' ... yeah, Ray deserved a better show. I wish I could say 'The Lake' was my favorite, but it doesn't have the impact that the original story has.

But I'm glad you liked 'The Town Where No One Got Off'. I like it, mainly for nostalgic reasons.

It's hard to rank the best ones but these are my favorites:

Touched with Fire
Great Wide World Over There
The Dwarf
The Lonely One
Fee Fie Foe Fum
The Tombstone
To the Chicago Abyss
The Long Rain

I'm biased probably but I can't think of any episodes I don't like.

For me, The Pedestrian doesn't work. In the short story, I remember the pedestrian is the only human character and we 'hear' his inner thoughts as he goes out on his nightly walks which creates an eerie mood of loneliness and isolation.

I really enjoyed 'The Emissary'. I am a sucker for stories with smart and loyal dogs in them anyway, and good boy-n-dog stories, plus the actor who played the sick boy was marvelous.

I don't really have a "worst", but I did not care for 'The Wind' much, although it DID have Michael Sarrazin in it (a favorite actor of mine -- RIP).

Some other ones are very good, but because I had already read the stories and some have been done in other cinematic versions, I won't rank those because I already knew the outcomes and that probably biases my opinion about the TV versions.
