I applauded it when George finally got the chance to beat the crap out of Bent. He was vile and never thanked George and Ory for saving his worthless life when he almost drowned.

That was one of my favorite scenes of the entire film! I know Bent hated the two but not thanking them for saving him was so wrong. When George kicked his arse in front of all those people it was priceless!

Why should he thank them? Orry and George leaving the barracks and going drinking without permission was the whole reason he was there and fell through the ice in the first place!

I never expected him to thank them! What pissed me off is that George didn't beat him to death!
When you come right down to it, George and Ory never should have saved his worthless life when he almost drowned! Think of the string of events that may never have happened due to that SOB having lived!
