Do Americans know anything about this show?

The post on Days of Our Lives made me think of Australia's own long-running soap opera, which has been popular in Australia and, even more so, in the UK since the mid 80s. It's launched the careers of some of Australia's best known exports like Russell Crowe, Margot Robbie, Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, Liam Hemsworth, Natalie Imbruglia and Ben Mendelsohn - a veritable star factory.

As far as I know it was on Hulu in the US for a short time, but never took off.

I might add that it's pretty terrible and has nothing to distinguish it from any other soap, but like Vegemite we own it proudly anyway. Have any Americans here even seen it?
