Paige's reasons

I really feel like her not telling Jack makes sense. I don't think it's the right thing, but I see why she thinks it is. It's not just hiding the fact that he's the father, but she honestly does respect his commitment to the church. Which is a huge change from last year when she was doing all she could to change it. I really feel like it's a positive change for her as a character.

I agree, but of course it won't turn out that way. Jack will eventually find out. I doubt he will leave the church though... He'll let someone else raise the child. Mark maybe, when Sonia miscarries he can step in, knowing that Paige is young enough to have more children down the track with him.

But that's just me hoping things will turn out that way...

I think it's probably the one thing that could get him to leave the church, actually. He said something about it when he was asking Paige if the baby was his, that he'd have to, at least I think it was then.

I don't want Paige and Mark to get together again though. It's not so much wanting her to be with Jack (though I wouldn't mind if it happened) as I never thought Paige and Mark were all that suited - when I started watching again, he told her not to do something and she went out and did it anyway on a regular basis, and that just doesn't strike me as being a good, communicative couple.

Plus Mark annoys me half the time.
