Paige is not ready to be a mother!

This is coming from someone whom has a 19 month old. She just does not have her priorities in order! Instead of fluffing around enjoying being the centre of attention whilst everyone speculates over who the father is, how about getting a plan together for how it is actually going to work when the baby gets here. Where is said baby going to live? Is it fair to make your family live with a baby? Who is going to support this baby? She still just working part time in the café? When it hits her just how much work a baby is I can just see her saying 'my parents owe me for abandoning me years ago'.

I laughed when someone said 'If anyone can do this its you Paige'. Based on what past evidence of her having a good work ethic or maternal instinct?

In TV land, they often have a baby shower and after that the new mum is miraculously completely ready for the baby. Plus, I think we're supposed to think all this is happening offscreen as well.

Me too. They say the weirdest things :-) She doesn't have a maternal instinct (yet), she's very young and sleeps with everything that will have her. Which is fine, why not, she's young etc... but at the moment, she's not mother material.

But I never liked Paige, so I could be biased.

All of a sudden she's excited about being a mother. It was only a couple of years ago she felt sick at the thought she could be pregnant with Mark and that was a major problem with their relationship. I actually hate they've made her pregnant. She was an independent, feisty young woman, why do they all have to have kids??

Sometimes it changes when you actually become pregnant, I've heard, so that works for that.

I think it's to get future generations, honestly, on these shows.

At least there'll be a baby Willis to randomly turn up in 10 - 15 years and keep the Carpenter Willis family going in Neighbours

I've never been a fan of Paige, but, it's horrid how they made her pregnant after that was one of the major problems with her and poor Mark
