1. Yeah she beat Tim Collins, the shady lawyer who was also running. I personally think Sonya makes a terrible Mayor. She always seems way over her hand, panicky, plus her personal life is a disaster.
2. Paige and Mark split because he couldn't trust her, she was getting involved with criminal activities etc. Plus they wanted different things, due to their age gap. Paige was younger, now he's dating older Steph. I agree, they're not a good match at all.
3. Yeah the affair turned into a relationship, Brad moved in, divorced Terese. Terese moved on. The only kids who were at the wedding were Paige and Piper.
4. Exactly, i never got that part. The writers and Susan seemed to want to place some sort of importance on Elly. There wouldn't have been any reason for Dee to remember her or want to. Plus she was played by a different actress the first time around. It was Susan's nephew Darcy who Dee had history with.
5. Piper started off as an annoying delinquent! Couldn't stand her at first but it took a while to get used to her. I prefer Xanthe and Ben.
6. Yes Sarah Beaumont was really ill with cancer, can't remember what cancer it was. But her treatment was successful. Her teenage son Angus lived on/off with Karl and Susan. Susan developed a mother/son bond with him. He was a problem kid for a while though.
Both he and Sarah have left.

Interesting.
2/3. So only two out of about ten kids between them attended? Paige has always been a favourite but I think it's only a matter of time before the actress leaves, she's clearly getting itchy feet. Plus her prime storylines - identity being revealed/reunion with parents & new siblings/relationship with Mark are all now over.
4. Wouldn't it be great if Darcy is somehow involved in the Dee plot.
6. So was it terminal or actually curable after all?

2/3. The other kids i.e Imogen, Amber, Mason and Bailey have all left, with no plans to return. Excuses were made why the characters were not there. Sorry for the spoiler if you're trying to catch up but Brad and Terese's son Josh is dead. He died in the Lassiters' hotel explosion.
I can see Paige leaving eventually to do better things but right now there's a current storyline which involves her alot, so i think she'll be in it for a while longer.
4. It's interesting you mention Darcy. I don't think he has plans for returning but someone is returning you may remember. A character that revolved around Darcy, Dee and Toadie - Sindi Watts.

Don't worry I know about Josh's death, Paige's pregnancy & Sindi Watts coming back. I don't watch it but Digital Spy keeps me up to date. Sindi will be interesting; she was a great character until they randomly turned her into an unhinged bunny boiler. Her & Toadie were good together. I remember one funny scene when Stingray was upset because it was parents evening at school & his weren't around/didn't care so Sindi & Toadie stepped in but went so overboard & got all dressed up/put on upper class accents & really threw themselves into it.

I don't remember that episode, hopefully i can find a clip on YouTube. Yeah i remember Toadie was happy with her once. Didn't she marry Stuart after their fling? Awww miss Stingray!

It would be great if Darcy returned - involved or not
Olympia has been filming a UK series so it's only a matter of time before she moves on I think
