George and Marsha were crappy parents

It seemed like they were always pushing the kids off on Mr. Belvedere. He had to direct Wesley's play cause they were too selfish and lazy, he usually had to give the children sound advice instead of their parents, etc. His job went far beyond butler.

I could understand needing the extra help when working, but they were kinda lazy around the house also.
