Should TV risk a reboot?

Without inspirations to recreate the original characters, should TV try this series again?

Yes! Look at amen, Spiderman, Batman and superman!

Anything better than gay vampires that glow and glitter in the sun heh!
And better than watching knocked up teens on MTV!

I think it would be a great idea, but unfortunately, 2 of the shows stars have long since passed away!!! I could see Courteney Cox making a guest appearance once in awhile!!!

reply

Cox is so embarrassed by MFS that she doesn't even allow the theme played during guest appearances on talk shows!

reply

Not with the originals of course! New people.

reply

realistically, any reboot is going to share themes with those shows. the entertainment industry tend to shoot for the lowest common denominator. but there have been many recent shows like Misfits of Science on tv; Tomorrow People, Alphas, etc.

If there was a reboot, it would be good if they made the characters have less control of there powers. Like Gloria with her telekinesis. Have her take time learning her ability rather then have her know what she is doing. Have the shrinking man shrink to a certain point sometimes. Like shrink to a size of a 12 year old or 4 year old size until he can gain control of how small he needs to be in certain situations. I'd keep Johnny B professional at his electric abilities and have him do things with no issues. Make him the best in the group. His only problem would be to recharge which would make him completely useless.

Johnny B was the only reason most people watched that show! Producers should've cut the show down to just him. And Deano Martin & Jefferson. It was dying anyway!
