Obscure 80s show

I remember watching this show during my childhood and I don't think I've spoken with anyone else my age who watched this show. But it sounds like a classic show from the 1980s. I still have only vague memories of the show, like when the electricity man got burned when he was on the beach and some water came up and got him in the foot, and also when someone gave the line "Suck foam, evildoers!" while spraying foam at the enemy. Anyone remember that line? It's stayed with me for some 20+ years.

I think I vaguely remember this show as well, and the "electricity man" sounds really familiar, albeit I would have been about 6-7 when it was on the air. Does anyone remember if they traveled around in a beat up old van, particularly in some sort of desert scene?

reply

Yes, in the pilot they drove around in an old ice cream truck. Got the series on dvd.

Yes, I do remember this also in my childhood years (in the Philippines). I remember the shrinking man and especially remember Courtney Cox who I think had the telekinesis.

I caught a few episodes of this show as a kid and I absolutely loved it. I remember this part where some guy touches water and it all freezes over in a tunnel formation. Then the 'cool guy' with sunglasses says, "Don't ever take this dude to a beach!" I loved that line as a kid.

Other stuff:

Of course I remember Courtney Cox being hot. I remember a scene where either she or her friend is pregnant at a party wearing a dress, and some woman makes a snide comment like, "I know clothes are difficult to find when you're pregnant but isn't that pushing it a bit?" Then Courtney Cox uses her telekinesis and lowers the woman's zip at the back of her dress.

I also remember this episode where there's this tribal dude who keeps saying "Keeya" or something. It was a great show. Would love to see it somewhere.

He was a frozen Neanderthal. Ripped-off from "Ice Man",Timothy Hutton, 1984.

People tell me it was on cable, later.

The show fell into disrepair due to NBC lack of interest. They began pulling their budget. There were no special effects nearly half-way towards the end of the series! Plus, UHF chessy, near porn movies were competing.
