Miles Mayhem?

Who was he? He had a blue military uniform and looked like a retired general. Was he even American?

Those of you who read the comics probably have more information on Mayhem.

As I recall, the Miles Mayhem character had been an ally of Matt Trakker and helped him develop the whole M.A.S.K concept, but he decided to double cross him (for some reason) and stole the technology and formed V.E.N.O.M. I don't know why he went from good to evil. I don't think he was supposed to be ex-military. I think that was just his "I'm the head bad guy" uniform.

* - When M.A.S.K. first came out, my Mom had just started dating an ex-Air Force Colonel who looked identical to Miles Mayhem (though much nicer). Even stranger; he drove a Camaro similar to Matt Trakker's.

Thank you replying Fluke_Skywalker. That is some story about your mom's date. Those Camaros were cool back then.

You're very welcome. There are probably more details out there about the backstory between Matt and Miles, but I just re-watched the pilot and it doesn't mention anything. It's not an origin story at all. No setup, no explanation.

Yeah, the '85 Camaro was pretty sweet. His was a Berlinetta model, which had a few extra "luxury" features. I remember it had a radio that was a console that could swivel from side to side so that the passenger could use it too. I vividly remember that he took me to go get Thunder Hawk, so I came home w/my toy Camaro in a real one .
