Roxanne: early prototype for 'People Like Us'

Just watched the rerun on Paramount Channel 2. There's so much in this you miss the first time. Chris Barrie almost unrecognisable in episode 2, and just about every early 80's comedy actor present at some time.

But the Roxanne episode, with Chris Langham, that's surely an early episode of People Like Us in embryo form - especially in the long winded introduction about the prison.

Looking forward to the DVD: hopefully there will be commentaries.
