I looked up on wikipedia.org that this is the only disney cartoon to have a finale as the other shows were open-ended. Does anyone remember how this show ended?

The last episode was a 2 parter in which Duke Igthorn took over Dunwyn and became King. In Part 1 Igthorn took over and destroyed Gummi Glen with a termite. In Part 2 The Barbics and the Gummi Bears were able to stop Igthorn. The series ended with the Gummis moving to Ursalia with the Barbics.
Who were the Barbics again?
I completly forgot how this show ended, any more info you can give would be great.

The Barbics where a group of gummis that survived the purging and stayed in Ursalia as guardians of gummi secrets. Ursalia is almost impossible to get too and the small group of gummis there are hard bitter and racist.

I must be showing my age too, cos I also watched it when it first aired! King Igthorn, part one and two...to be honest, I didn't like the ending (I wasn't a fan of the Barbic Gummis) so I hardly ever rewatched it even though I taped it. The first two seasons were the best! (Or maybe the first three; I lost track of where they ended and began on my tapes).
Never judge things by their appearance. Even carpet bags. I'm sure I never do.

I never watched the last few seasons. I used to love the first few though. I have I think series 1-5 on tape or somat like that
