The Disney Afternoon Movies

If Disneytoon Studios finish its lineups of the Tinker Bell and Planes movies, the next franchise they should focus is the Disney Afternoon. All of us want to see more of characters in stories with great potential from Gummi Bears, DuckTales, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck and Bonkers. Of course, here is how those movies should be done:

1. Since Walt Disney Animation Studios has no plans on doing a hand-drawn feature at this moment, Disneytoon Studios should return on doing full hand-drawn animation for a while. The best candidates for that format are the Gummi Bears movies, the TaleSpin movies and the Darkwing Duck movies*.
*For Darkwing Duck, I bet some of us don't mind if that series is done on full CGI.

2. Disney Afternoon veteran Tad Stones had been quite curious of the CGI version of DuckTales. Since there were used to be plans for more of the DuckTales movies after DuckTales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, I think Disneytoon Studio should have another shot on further adventures of Scrooge McDuck and friends, only then in CGI.

3. The Darkwing Duck movies should be based on the 2010 comic book series, only then the movie versions should be much closer to the original TV series - mainly having comedy within action and drama.

4. The movie version of Bonkers should have a mix of hand-drawn characters (toons) and CG characters (humans), set in a CG world, for the movie to be more believable than the TV series. Also, both Bonkers D. Bobcat and Miranda Wright should be reinvented, so all of us can emotionally relate to them that easily. Even the relationship between Bonkers and Miranda should have more dimensions than the one in the TV series - even similar to Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure.
