Anyone know when he first appeared and how many episodes he was in?

shareGusto was there until the end but he appeared rather infrequently. According to IMDB he only appeared in 19 episodes. I was disappointed that they never did any episodes delving into Gusto's past. I mean prior to getting stranded on the island he must have been part of a larger group of Gummis and it seem like this place and the Gummis therein would be something in which the Glen Gummis would be very interested. Oddly, the subject never came up.
shareI always liked him. I just loved his sarcastic comments and deadpan delivery. My favorite line is when they are in a quick-car and something goes wrong and he says, "You know I bet someday people will pay for a ride like that." Also liked that he lived alone behind a waterfall.
